2. 'The Iron Lady'
While reviews of the movie directed by Phyllida Lloyd have been lackluster, many critics have agreed that Streep is phenomenal as former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, and Streep has been nominated for the Best Performance by an Actress prize. She's regarded as one of the major contenders in the race for the Best Actress award from the Screen Actors Guild and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
