Moss in the lawn

When moss invades the lawn, it's because the soil is very acidic, there's too much shade, drainage is poor, and/or the soil is low in nutrients. Unless you correct those problems, just trying to kill the moss doesn't do much good. It will return. See this article for the latest trend in growing moss, not discouraging it.
