Motor City has had its share of difficulties over the past half century, but it remains the automotive capital of America and the birthplace of Motown music. Its population loss has slowed over the past decade and the mainstay auto industry is showing signs of a resurgence. The city is now the fifth cheapest city to buy a four-bedroom home.
