I just finished The Shack, by William Paul Young. I know this book has been out for a long time now, but I am so glad I finally read it. I do not consider myself an overly religious person, but I would recommend this (and have done so already) to many people. Although “The Shack” could be categorized as a fantasy, this incredible read will change your perspective on the pain of loss and moving past a tragedy.
