Not that it will ever happen but if it did, give former Vice President Cheney a front row seat.

Appearing on CNN's State of the Union this morning, Cheney weighed in on Rush Limbaugh's challenge to debate President Obama.

“Hell, I’d pay to see that,” Cheney said. “I think Rush is a good man.”

What about the claim last week from another conservative who said Limbaugh is kryptonite?

Anything but, said Cheney.

"Rush is a good friend. I love him. I think he does great work and has for years."

Reactions from this morning's appearance are wide ranging and mostly negative on Twitter so far.

Rosierifka says bring on Jon Stewart: "So disappointing interview w/ dick Cheney and john king - no hard follow up at all - wish jon stewart was asking the ?s!"

Cloudbrain comments on the state of the newspaper industry: "CNN just asked Cheney if he sleeps in now and reads newspapers. He said he reads them on his blackberry. Ouch. Papers really r in trouble."

One person has a different opinion on the former VP.

Ruthnh: Dick Cheney uses Blackberry, Kindle. I don't dislike him as much now.

Live or Memorex?

Although the Memorex analogy doesn't really work here, we wonder are all these Twitter commenters live people or robots? They seem live anyway. But you can't always tell.

The folks at GlobalVoicesOnline say don't always trust your Twitter "friends."

Hey, we promise we're live people. And we use Twitter too (although we are just getting started on it). So follow us!
