What do Christine O'Donnell and Sarah Palin have in common? Here is a list of the top five ways the two compare.

2. Boil, boil, toil and trouble

In this YouTube clip from 1999, Christine O'Donnell talks about "dabbling in witchcraft" on Bill Maher's show "Politically Incorrect." Maher aired the clip on his current show "Real Time with Bill Maher" on Sept. 17.

OK, so Sarah Palin's ties to witchcraft are pretty thin. Or are they?

As far as we know Palin never "dabbled" in witchcraft like Christine O'Donnell says she did in her youth. But a video has circulated on the web of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin being blessed by a Kenyan bishop who asked Jesus to protect Palin from "witchcraft," in Sept. 2008.

Hmmmm...

Much like those in the GOP who are questioning O'Donnell's qualifications, similar questions arose in 2008 about how much Republican campaign managers investigated Palin's past before naming her their vice-presidential candidate of choice.

Additionally, Palin has claimed to be the target of a media "witch hunt" on more than one occasion.

A figure of speech, we know.

O'Donnell has addressed the witchcraft revelation saying, "“How many of you did not hang out with questionable folks in high school?” laughing at the idea at a Republican picnic in Delaware on Sunday.

“There’s been no witchcraft since. If there was, Karl Rove would be a supporter now,” she joked.

Which brings us to #1 on our list...
