Called the tightest race of the year, "The Descendants" star George Clooney and "The Artist" star Jean Dujardin are currently the front-runners for this prize. Clooney took the lead early on with his win at the Golden Globes for the Best Actor prize, but Dujardin, with his wins at the Screen Actors Guild Awards and the more recent BAFTA Awards, seems to be getting more support.
