Middle East As Kerry heads to Cairo, renewed urgency for Gaza cease-fire

Regional and global leaders are stepping up pressure for a cease-fire in Gaza after a devastating weekend of fighting. Though neither Israel nor Hamas looks prepared to give up on their goals just yet, the spike in casualties on both sides have instilled a new sense of urgency in mediation efforts.
