In Dresden, more than 10,000 people marched against the 'Islamization' of Germany, the largest yet in a series of protests against the country's policy of welcoming immigrants.

When German Chancellor Angela Merkel condemned a rash of hate-mongering on the streets of Dresden yesterday, it was the second time in just months that she’s had to appeal to the public to act with tolerance.
