Ask.com, owned by Barry Diller's IAC/InterActiveCorp, has launched an online coupon aggregator, Ask Deals, today, to help coupon clippers find savings.

The search engine will sift through message boards, blogs, retail and coupon Web sites, and store circular ads, to find more than one million online coupons. Software will ensure expired coupons are weeded out of the mix, according to a press release.

According to Scott Garell, President of Ask Networks, searches for coupons on Ask have increased by almost 50 percent in 2009. "In a tough economy and with the holidays approaching, Ask Deals arrives at just the right time for consumers as a one-stop shop for value," Garell said in a press release.

The site lists everything from food and grocery coupons to coupons for retail chains such as Walmart, Best Buy, and Barnes and Noble. The site also enables users to share coupons with friends through e-mail, or on Facebook, Twitter, and Digg. (In case you didn't know, Twitter has been buzzing with news about online coupon codes and discounts for quite some time.)
