3. Dancing popcorn and soda

Remember movie advertisements that showed popcorn, hot dogs, and fountain drinks dancing? They’ve never really disappeared, but such commercials were popular in the drive-in era as a way to persuade viewers to get a snack from the food stand. In this Doodle, the food and drink spells out Google ­­– the hot dog is an L, the popcorn an E, and so on. Google also spells out its name on a license plate and in the candy shelf on the food stand at the end of the animation.
