Five alternatives to Netflix
Has Netflix's price hikes pushed you too far? Here are five alternatives.
3. Redbox
If you hate going to a video store to rent movies, and if you also hate downloading things and receiving mail, there's always Redbox. The company lets you rent videos via vending machines, which are often located at McDonald's, super markets, and other heavy-traffic shops. Reserve a movie online, and then visit one of Redbox's 27,000 kiosks (hint: they look like red boxes). DVDs cost $1 per day, and if you keep it out for 25 days, you own it. You can also get Blu-ray discs for $1.50 a day and video games for $2 a day.
