Scottie Pippen, Karl Malone to be inducted at Hall of Fame
Scottie Pippen, Karl Malone, and the 1992 Olympic Dream Team will be enshrined during ceremonies Friday night.
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Two of basketball's greatest Olympic champions are entering the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame together.
Larry Bird and Magic Johnson were among eight players from the famed 1992 squad who attended a morning press conference. Michael Jordan wasn't there, but is scheduled to be at the ceremony at Symphony Hall.
Speaking for the 1960 team, West said he played on what he considered "the greatest amateur team that ever played."
