When it comes to pets, saying goodbye can be all but impossible. That’s why Edgar and Nina Otto of Boca Raton, FL, decided not to. Before their beloved Labrador Sir Lancelot’s death in 2008, the Ottos had his DNA frozen so that he could be cloned by a South Korean lab, for a $155,000 price tag. “He looks like him,” Nina Otto said of the pup in the 2009 CNN interview below.
