Peter Eisner, former foreign correspondent for Newsday, interviewed Manuel Noriega, former military dictator of Panama, in prison in 1993 and recorded the interviews in America’s Prisoner: The Memoirs of Manuel Noriega. The duplicity of American representatives that Noriega describes is disturbing. Eisner conducted independent investigations and found support for some of the allegations.
