Reader recommendation: The Smart Swarm
Monitor readers share their favorite book picks.
The Smart Swarm by Peter Miller is a provocative, fascinating, surprising read that lets us see what can be accomplished by putting to use some of the lessons found in studying the organization and actions of colonies of a smart swarm. Those colonies include ants, bees, termites, and fish. This is quite a book and hard to put down. It is tremendously interesting and so optimistic.
