Reader recommendation: One Summer, America 1927

Monitor readers share their favorite book picks.

One Summer: America 1927 by Bill Bryson is chock-a-block full of facts about the famous and not so famous people of that era.  Every paragraph and page had enough facts to keep the Jeopardy Quiz in questions for many a week. It was a wonderful way to spend cold days and nights during our several snow storms this winter.
