4 light, breezy audio books for summer

This month's audiobook are light, breezy, and humorous – in other words, vacation-style reads.

1. 'Texts from Jane Eyre,' by Mallory Ortberg

of

(Read by Amy Landon and Zach Villa; Tantor Audio; 2 CDs; 2 hours and 22 minutes)
This is the perfect gift for the avid reader in your life. Author Mallory Ortberg takes characters from classical literature and updates them with much humor. Scarlett O’Hara, Oliver Twist, Sherlock Holmes, Odysseus, Harry Potter, and Nancy Drew are all grist for the humor mill. Amy Landon and Zach Villa play this for laughs, whining, cajoling, teasing, and generally adding to the overall hilarity. Ortberg is smart and literary; parody seems second nature to her. Keep this one because you will play it again.
