10 most controversial authors (in recent memory)
It takes courage to be a published author. On the one hand, your book might not succeed. On the other hand – it might. And for some writers, that's exactly where the trouble begins. Charges of plagiarism, indecency, inaccuracy, or just plain bad writing begin to fly once a book gets popular enough and for some authors it's hard to ever climb out from under the mud pile again.
