2. "Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead," by Sheryl Sandberg

Sandberg, the COO of Facebook has tackled a hot-button issue in "Lean In," her attempt to explain why – in this post-feminist age – there are still so few women in positions of leadership. But Nelson says that this remains a "very thorny issue" and she believes that "it doesn't matter who wrote the book, there would be controversy."
