Jennifer Powell-Lunder, Psy. D. (l.) and Barbara Greenberg, PhD. blog together at Talking Teenage, an interactive informational website for the parents of teenagers.

Dr. Powell-Lunder ,is a clinical psychologist specializing in work with children, adolescents and their families. She is the co-author of the book "Teenage as a Second Language,"  her second book, and creator  Talking Teenage.

She is a regular writer for GalTime, Yahoo Shine, and New York’s CBS.com. She has been featured on Yahoo, AOL’s ParentDish, Mamapedia, and many other blogs and websites. She was profiled in Westchester Magazine’s January 2012 "People to Watch." She is a published researcher, accomplished speaker and consultant on teen issues. She is a regular contributor to Parenting Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The Chicago Tribune and syndicated Tribune papers and has appeared on radio and television including, NBC’s TODAY in New York, WCBS, Fox, ABC, and NPR  talking about teen issues.

Jennifer is the program director of an adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit at Four Winds Hospital. She is an adjunct professor of psychology at Pace University. In addition, she sits on the Board of Directors for Family Ties, a non-profit family advocacy agency serving Westchester County, N.Y. She maintains a private outpatient practice in Katonah, NY.

She is a breast cancer survivor who lives by the motto “It’s not about surviving, it’s about living.”

Dr. Greenberg is  a professional consultant on teen issues at Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, Conn. She also maintains a private practice in Fairfield County, Conn.

She served as a clinical administrator on an adolescent inpatient unit at a private psychiatric hospital for 21 years before dedicating herself to private outpatient practice and consultation work. Barbara is The Teen Doctor for Psychology Today, a parenting expert for Galtime.com, and blogs regularly for the Huffington Post. She is the contributing expert psychologist for Mode Lifestyle Magazine and the consulting psychologist for thirdage.com.

Barbara appears regularly on national and local TV shows and is consulted regularly on breaking news stories for both print and TV. She also speaks both nationally and internationally as a keynote speaker for various organizations.
