Dr. Nadya T. Bliss is the director of the Global Security Initiative at Arizona State University. Prior to taking on the GSI role, she served as the assistant vice president for research strategy at the university's Office of Knowledge Enterprise Development. Before joining ASU, Nadya spent 10 years at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, most recently as the founding leader of the Computing and Analytics Group. In 2011, she received the inaugural MIT Lincoln Laboratory Early Career Technical Achievement award. She has also served on the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency's Information Science and Technology advisory board. Nadya received bachelor and master degrees in computer science from Cornell University and a PhD from Arizona State University. She's a senior member of IEEE.
