FROM ALL YOUR WELL-WISHERS

Nelson Mandela: father of black majority rule in South Africa, former president, cowinner of the 1993 Nobel Peace Prize, statesman, peacemaker. And now, apparently, an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records. Why, you ask? It seems he was honored last weekend with the world's largest bouquet of fresh flowers. The display consisted of 33,332 individual lilies and proteas weighing almost four tons and tied with a huge pink bow. The old record - 28,201 flowers - was set in 1998 by the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis. Mandela is undergoing treatment for cancer.
