Sun-gold, leaf-green glow

with a flash of soft

mountain bluebird blue

just before gray

announces

a breeze carrying a

glimmer of night-cool,

and a swift dusting of

rain is dry in minutes.

The parch of a hot dry day

has been soothed

forecasting an evening

bordered with purple.
