Strife continues in Sri Lanka over Tamil separatist issue

A bomb ripped through an abandoned police station early Sunday, killing 11 militant Tamil separatists who officials said may have accidently detonated the explosives while planting them in the building.

Sri Lanka's security minister announced Friday that Israeli and British experts are training security forces in intelligence gathering against the separatists. He said captured rebels had told officials they had received training from the Palestine Liberation Organization.
