Four US soldiers killed in Honduras helicopter crash

Four American soldiers were killed and six injured when a US Army helicopter crashed in bad weather about 47 miles from the Honduran capital of Tegucigalpa, the Pentagon said Friday.

It said the accident happened about 35 miles from the Nicaraguan border, and there was no sign of hostile action.

The Pentagon said the helicopter was flying from Aguacate to San Lorenzo when it ran into bad weather and lost visual and radio contact with an accompanying helicopter.
