Van Gogh exhibition

It will not be much different, I know than it was in Paris long ago when the century was new: when three young artists left the Bernheim-Jeune Gallery struck with wonder -- Matisse and Derain silent, Vlaminck saying later "That day I felt I love Van Gogh more than my own father." It will not be different now, I known. Now too, there will be those who find these scenes awaken the sleeping pictures in more than one young mind. As like begets like -- art, art -- like the Biblic view that earth brings forth seed after its own kind -- art too.
