Canadian inflation slipped below 10% last month

Canada's inflation rate has fallen below 10 percent for the first time in 2 1 /2 years, according to monthly statistics published Tuesday.

The annual inflation rate dropped from 10 percent in October to 9.8 percent in November, the figures showed. Consumer prices advanced 0.7 percent during November, the fifth consecutive month the increase has ranged between 0.5 and 0. 7 percent.
