Thatcher accents position against pipeline sanctions

British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher underscored her objections to President Reagan's sanctions on suppliers to the Soviet gas pipeline.

At a news conference here, she said it would be unreasonable for British companies to refuse to fill contracts to supply equipment for the pipeline, and the only acceptable reason for failing to fulfill a contract would be an outbreak of hostilities.
