Judge denies lower bail for former CIA agent

A federal judge refused to reduce the $20 million bond set for Edwin Wilson, a former CIA agent who is in jail, amid new allegations that Mr. Wilson threatened a government prosecutor with death.

US District Judge John Lewis Smith Jr. ruled from the bench that safety considerations and the risk of Mr. Wilson's fleeing the country mandated that he be held on the extraordinarily high bail, pending trial. Mr. Wilson is charged with shipping explosives to Libya and organizing terrorist-training projects.
