Ethics panel joins probe of illicit sex in Congress

The House ethics committee Thursday joined an FBI investigation of reported homosexual activity between two or three congressmen and teen-age pages.

The Arkansas Gazette reported that a senator, a few House members, and about a dozen pages were involved. After two unidentified pages spoke out on national television Wednesday, the Justice Department said the investigation focused on whether sex was swapped for political favors and drugs.
