Egyptian Foreign Minister Kamal Hassan Ali met with Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin and said Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak will accept an invitation to visit Israel, but he gave no timetable for such a visit.
Mr. Ali did not specify whether President Mubarak would visit Jerusalem, a problem which caused the Egyptian leader to put off previous plans for a state visit.
