US consul's home damaged by fire bombs

Frankfurt, West Germany

Attackers hurled three gasoline bombs at the home of the US consul Sunday but no one was injured in the third anti-American assault in West Germany in two weeks. Consul David Betts was not home during the early morning attack, which caused $150 in damages. Police said they had no clues to the identity of the attackers.
