21 GI technicians teaching Honduran troops, US says

The American Embassy says 21 US military men, including 4 Green Berets, are in Honduras teaching the Army to detect arms smuggling and other "technical things," but officials shied away from using the word "advisers." The military men began arriving here over a month ago, an embassy spokesman said, denying they were providing combat training to Hondurans, as are some of the 56 military advisers in neighboring EL Salvador.
