Two American diplomats ordered out of Zambia

Two senior United States diplomats expelled by the Zambian government will leave tonight (June 24), US Embassy sources said. The expulsion order, announced by the Foreign Ministry Monday, also said a Foreign Ministry official had been arrested on allegations of being an agent of the Central Intelligence Agency.

No specific allegations were made against John Finney, political first secretary, or Michael O'Brien, public-affairs first secretary, but three other US diplomats and an American businessman, all out of the country, were declared personae non gratae for alleged involvement in CIA a ctivities.
