Oil isn't the only commodity there's a glut of these days. Another one is coffee. Not only are stockpiles in coffee warehouses around the world climbing toward the brim, but leading producer Brazil also seems headed for a record harvest. The Brazilian Coffee Institute conservatively projects a 32-million-bag harvest -- 80 percent higher than last year's. A bag holds 132 pounds.
Even another one of Brazil's frosts between now and harvest time in October would have a minimal impact worldwide. Consumption has lessened and oth er producing nations have hiked their output.m
