Egyptian President Anwar al-Sadat told President-Elect Ronald Reagan in a Christmas message that Egypt condfidently expects him to play a "positive and energeic" role in MiddleEast peacemaking. Mr. Sadat also sent a telegram to President Carter, praising his efforts toward Arab-Israeli peace.
