Israel will ask the United States for $2.9 billion in aid for the 1982 fiscal year, Finance Ministry sources said Sunday. The sources said that $1.8 billion of this amount was military aid and the rest would bolster the civilian budget. This year, Israel received $2.2 billion in aid from the US.
