Torrential rains force hundreds to flee in South

Weekend rains and tornadoes across the South killed at least six people and caused severe property damage in Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, and South California, with flooding forcing hundreds to flee their homes. In New Orleans, people paddled small canoes through the streets, covered by as much as 10 feet of water.
