Israel questions 150 Arabs on blast near Tel Aviv

Israeli police have detained some 150 Arabs for questioning after a bomb blast Monday that wounded 12 persons, one seriously, in the town of Petah Tikva, northeast of Tel Aviv.Police said the bomb consisted of three hand grenades that exploded at a bus station near the town square, a favorite target for Palestinian guerrillas. Monday's bomb was the fourth to go off in the same busy street in the past few years.

Palestinian commandos in Damascus, Syria, claimed responsibility for the explosion.
