Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) and his news team will also appear in a sequel to 'Anchorman,' which is set for a December release.

As San Diego anchor Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) tells his co-worker Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), “I’m kind of a big deal.”

So it should surprise no one that Burgandy is penning a memoir, which is set to come out Nov. 19. The book will be titled “Let Me Off at the Top: My Classy Life and Other Musings.”

Burgandy’s memoir will be released by Random House. The newsman said he is “too close to the work" to accurately state whether it is "the greatest autobiography ever written," but "I will tell you this much,” he said in a statement. “The first time I sat down and read this thing ... I cried like a … baby. And you can take that to the bank.”

The book will include inside stories on Burgandy's co-workers (portrayed in the movie by actors Paul Rudd, David Koechner, and Steve Carell), his dog Baxter, and his love life.

The 2004 movie starring Ferrell is getting a follow-up this winter, with “Anchorman: The Legend Continues” scheduled for a Dec. 20 release. As noted by USA Today, Washington, D.C.’s Newseum will also host an exhibit dedicated to the fictional news team, which is scheduled to open Nov. 14.
