Argentine Carlos Delfino spent four years in the NBA playing for the Detroit Pistons and Toronto Raptors before reportedly turning down a multi-million dollar deal in favor of going to Russia. He signed with Basketball Club Khimki Moscow Region, of the Russian Super League, reportedly becoming one of the highest paid basketball players in Europe.

"Khimki, where he is under contract for the next two years, pays him about 10 millions dollars, plus a house, a car (with a driver), and less taxes," writes Raptors Republic. After one season in Russia, Mr. Delfino returned to the NBA in 2009 to play for the Milwaukee Bucks.
