Rocky Marciano is remembered for his perfect record as a professional boxer - 49-0. 'The Rock' became heavyweight champion in 1952 when he defeated Jersey Joe Walcott. Marciano beat Archie Moore in his final fight in 1955 and retired from the ring in 1956. 43 of his 49 wins were by knockout.
