Ina Garten: Google celebrates with pre-Thanksgiving recipe doodle
Google changed their logo today to a pre-Thanksgiving doodle that promotes the recipes of Ina Garten, the Barefoot Contessa.
The Google homepage today has transformed the OO's in the Google logo with an assortment of vegetables and ingredients one might use to prepare a Thanksgiving feast (carrots, onions, cranberries, and herbs). The search engine is promoting six of Ina Garten's simple recipes such as, turkey with herb and apple stuffing, sweet potatoes, and a pumpkin banana mousse tart, to help you plan your Thanksgiving menu.
Not to be outdone by Ms. Garten, the Monitor's Stir it Up blog also has a few Thanksgiving recipes worth checking out, such as Thanksgiving fennel salad, Wild rice and fruit salad, pumpkin coconut pie. Cooking for a vegan? Try this stuffing recipe.
