Report Links Paul Manafort To Russian Oligarch

A former chairman of PresidentDonald Trump's campaign secretly worked for a Russian oligarch to advance the interests of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The revelations related to Paul Manafort detail his work in the past decade that including a proposed political strategy to undermine Russian opposition across former Soviet republics. According to the Associated Press, Manafort proposed the confidential strategy back in 2005, that included plans to influence influence politics, business dealings and news coverage inside the US and across Europe. He pitched the plan to Russian aluminum magnate Oleg Deripaska, who signed a $10 million annual contract for Manafort.
