Don't put sensitive information on a computer. If you have to keep it on the hard disk, at least encrypt it.

With so many laptop computers being stolen, it's not just transactions online you need to worry about, it's your computer itself. Do you store sensitive information in your computer, such as a file with all your passwords in it? If you do, you need to password protect your computer and encrypt your files.
