Kim Campbell is the Monitor's culture and education editor. Previously she was an educator for over a decade, working as an AmeriCorps member and then as a teacher in public and private schools. She was honored as a teacher of the year and as a National Endowment for the Humanities summer scholar. Before becoming a teacher, she reported and edited for the Monitor for 14 years from Boston, New York, and locations overseas on topics from news and education to books and culture. She is currently based in Colorado.
