Chelsea Sheasley is an education writer for The Christian Science Monitor, covering K-12 education. Chelsea previously served as a staff writer and editor for the Monitor. She oversaw regional coverage of Asia while an editor on the international desk and reported from Pakistan on a journalism fellowship through the East-West Center at the University of Hawaii. Chelsea interned with the Monitor in Jerusalem, where she reported from Israel and the West Bank. She also worked in communications for Tacoma Public Schools in Tacoma, Washington. She holds a masters degree in journalism from Boston University and a BA in history from Principia College. She lives outside Boston with her family.
