Even Stevens: Heck of a Hanukkah

(Disney Channel, 7:30-8 p.m., repeated through the month): The holiday episode of the Stevens household is "It's a Wonderful Life" with a Hanukkah twist. Goofy, but enjoyable for all children.

The Ultimate Christmas Present (Disney Channel, 8-10 p.m., repeated through the month): The family comedy about a weather machine in the wrong hands can be silly, and sometimes mildly satirical. Harmless for the young.

The Tangerine Bear: Home In Time for Christmas (ABC, 7:30-8 p.m.): This delightful cartoon about a little bear whose smile is sown on upside down has a sweet message about loving the ones you're with and making family where you are. Trisha Yearwood sings, and David Hyde Pierce and Jenna Elfman lend their talents.

Unwrapped: The Mysterious World of Mummies (TLC, 8-11 p.m.): A grim subject, but history buffs will appreciate the demystification this documentary provides. From a 6,000-year-old infant in South America to Russia's Lenin, mummies have a long and odd history.

Gumboots (PBS, check local listings): A stage show based on South African "gumboot" dancing (see story, page 19).

Dune (Sci-Fi, 9-11 p.m.): William Hurt stars in this three-part premiere based on the classic 1965 sci-fi novel (see story, page 13). Continues Monday and Tuesday at the same time.

Tina: One Last Time Live (CBS, 10-11 p.m.): Tina Turner is at it again - this time from Wembley Stadium in London. From "Grapevine" to "What's Love Got To Do With It," she's at her best.

American Masters: Finding Lucy (PBS, check local listings): Those who still love Lucy will appreciate this biography of Lucille Ball, who was dubbed Queen of the B's, and then changed the history of comedy.

Learning for Life: Kids and Learning Differences (Disney Channel, 9:25-10 p.m., repeated): A thoughtful documentary about differently abled children and the good news in educational advancement and parent advocacy. Anyone interested in education will find it heartening.
