When the dog is accused of sheep-slaughter, it's his master's turn to save the dog. Stars Ron Pearlman and Randy Travis.
The Invisible Man (Sci-Fi Channel, 8-10 p.m.): This cheeky near-future action adventure series is a kick. A thief turns into a secret agent when government scientists implant a special gland in his brain. The wiseacre agent becomes invisible and undoes a world of harm.
The French Open (NBC, 3-6 p.m.): One of the major grand-slam events in tennis concludes this weekend. Women play the finals on the clay courts of the Roland Garros Stadium in Paris today, the men tomorrow.
On Hostile Ground (TBS, 8-10 p.m.): This predictable, yet mildly entertaining disaster movie has a wild premise. A system of really deep sinkholes starts opening up under New Orleans during Mardi Gras. Bad political decisions and a helpful geologist are all part of the mix.
The Things We Do For Love (Lifetime, 10-10:30 a.m.): This new Lifetime series is all about good news, strong bonds between people, and a more uplifting variety of "reality" than you're likely to see on the tube the rest of the day. The opener profiles a young woman's gratitude to the grandmother who raised her.
Conversations in World Cinema: Claire Denis (Sundance Channel, 1:05-1:35 p.m., also June 18, 28, check local listings): The French director talks about the "most serious" thing in her life - making movies. The director of "Chocolat" and "Beau Travail" also discusses her life as a woman filmmaker.
Investigative Reports: Inside Alcoholics Anonymous (A&E, 10-11 p.m.): Riveting documentary exposes the worst drug problem in the country - alcoholism - and profiles the organization that has helped millions of people.
Real World (MTV, 10-11 p.m.): The ninth season of MTV's popular reality series sets the cast down in New Orleans.
